Ghana’s Aquantuo secures $100,000 as Africa’s Business Heroes Top 10 finalist.

At the recently concluded Africa’s Business Heroes competition, Ghanaian logistics technology company Aquantuo emerged as one of the ten African startups to share in the $1.5 million Africa Business Heroes Prize by the Jack Ma Foundation, receiving $100,000.

The grand prize winner, Senegal-based healthtech Eyone Medical, secured $300,000, while the first and second runners-up, Solutech Limited and Green Watech, received $250,000 and $150,000, respectively. 

Africa’s Business Heroes is dedicated to identifying, supporting, and inspiring the next generation of African entrepreneurs who drive impact in their communities, tackle pressing challenges, and build a more sustainable and inclusive economy.

Founded by Clement Owusu-Donkor in 2016, Aquantuo simplifies global shipping by connecting international markets to African consumers. With a deep understanding of Africa’s logistical challenges, Aquantuo offers air and sea freight, personalized shopping, door-to-door delivery, and logistics solutions for businesses of all sizes. With a global logistics network, Aquantuo handles everything from customs clearance to documentation to ensure safe and on-time delivery.

Operating across 13 countries, the company claims to have served over 16,000 customers, completed more than 100,000 orders and transported goods over 800 metric tons.
