Two of Ghana’s most promising startups, Regulon and Zerone AnalytiQs, have been selected for the 2025 Google for Startups Accelerator programme. Selected from a pool of over 1,500 applicants across the continent, they stand out as part of a highly competitive cohort of 15 startups using AI-first approaches to solve local and global problems. These innovators hail from Ghana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, and South Africa, and are solving local problems across diverse sectors, including fintech, agritech, healthtech, and professional services.

Participating startups will receive intensive mentorship, access to Google engineers and experts, cloud support, and networking opportunities with VCs and ecosystem leaders.

Regulon

Founders: Yao Baku, Timi Adegbenla, and Kwaku Boateng 

Founding year: 2024

Regulon is an AI-powered compliance and onboarding platform designed to simplify regulatory processes for businesses across Africa and the EMEA region. It makes onboarding easier by letting businesses create company profiles that can be reused and shared.

Zerone AnalytiQs

Founders: Abigail Aidoo, Deborah Oppong-Asumang and Kofi Oppong-Asumang

Founding year: 2022

Zerone Analytics is a data analytics company that bridges Africa’s data gap through increased data accessibility. Its transformative two-pronged solution is revolutionising how data is sourced, analysed, and utilised for decisions.
