Twelve Ghanaian education technology startups have been chosen for the second cohort of the Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship Program, following the success of the first cohort, which reached over 136,798 learners during its acceleration phase.
Led by MEST Africa in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation’s Centre for Innovative Teaching and Learning, the program equips entrepreneurs with business expertise, insights into learning science, funding opportunities, and networking support—helping them scale sustainably and amplify their impact.
How does the program support companies to scale?
Selected startups receive $60,000 in equity-free funding, along with mentorship and access to additional financing, to accelerate their growth and expand their reach.
