Building Bytes, the leading narrative-driven media platform spotlighting Ghana’s digital economy, has announced a groundbreaking content distribution partnership with MX24 TV. The agreement formalised via a Memorandum of Understanding with its parent company, Insights Lab, marks the first time a tech podcast in Ghana will be broadcast nationwide on television.

As part of the partnership, MX24 TV will air Building Bytes twice weekly, on Thursdays from 8–9 PM, and a rebroadcast will be available on Sundays at 7 PM. The show will also stream digitally via the MX24 TV mobile app and website, expanding access to audiences nationwide and across the diaspora.

“This is a game-changing step not just for us, but for Ghana’s entire tech storytelling landscape,” said Yaw Antwi Owusu, the Team Lead of Insights Lab & Building Bytes. “What started as a podcast has evolved into a platform that informs, inspires, and now reaches every corner of the country through the power of Television.”

The deal also includes a joint promotional strategy, with both parties leveraging their media channels to amplify awareness of the show and its mission. MX24 will support with TV commercials, interviews, web banners, and social media, while Building Bytes will activate its fast-growing community of tech enthusiasts, founders, and digital creators.

Since its launch in 2023, Building Bytes has produced 68 episodes featuring voices from across the tech and entrepreneurship ecosystem, including early-stage founders, policy leaders, and innovators. A key partner in its recent growth has been Hubtel Academy, which has hosted and supported the show’s in-studio production since November 2023.

Looking ahead, Building Bytes will launch an open call for tech stories, inviting startups, builders, and ecosystem leaders across Ghana to pitch their ideas for upcoming episodes.
